Systems Test Technician

The Systems Test Technician inspects and completes as necessary the entire filtration systems that range in price from $30,000 to $4M. This includes the mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems. You will load and test the plc program, test all pumps and give the final go ahead that the system is ready for shipment. With 60% of our systems being custom designed and each technician assigned their own systems the job is challenging and extremely interesting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspect and troubleshoot all electrical and mechanical components including pumps and controllers.
• Diagnose and problem-solve mechanical & electrical issues of newly fabricated equipment ranging in price upwards of $4M/system.
• Load and test the PLC program.
• Complete any electrical or mechanical issue that you do find on this new equipment
• Other duties may include assisting electrical assembly as well as pneumatic assembly

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Three years of experience or the equivalent working with electrical and mechanical systems
• Read and thoroughly comprehend technical drawings.
• Operate basic hand tools and electrical measuring devices.
• Ability and knowledge working with high voltage equipment preferred.
• Basic computer work.
• Demonstrated knowledge of pneumatics and pumps helpful.
• Ability to pass random drug screens.
• Prefer Technical School degree with an emphasis in electrical components.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
