Stride is looking for a driven, talented strategy professional to join its Career Learning Strategy team. Reporting to the Vice President of Career Strategy, this high-profile role will give you the opportunity to define and drive the strategy which delivers continued growth for Stride’s Career Learning business. The role requires a true “business athlete” who can be influential with key stakeholders, work collaboratively to develop and execute on various strategies, and drive actionable insights based on data and industry dynamics. This role is ideal for someone eager to solve complex problems facing learners and internal business operations, and values being a collaborative partner in a matrixed environment. This role is highly visible and will have frequent interaction with executives across the business.

  • Drive key strategic initiatives within the Career Learning business unit; support development of short-term and long-term strategic priorities, objectives, and results
  • Lead ideation, development, and sizing/opportunity modeling for strategic initiatives
  • Work with subject matter experts and internal partners to analyze current industry trends, expansion opportunities, competitive threats, and recommend actions
  • Lead project teams and individually execute large scale projects
  • Analyze current business processes, recommend improvements, lead change
  • Support divisional strategic planning process including Board presentations
  • Conduct data-driven analyses, generate insights, and deliver recommendations for ongoing business improvement across operations, product, and content

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field AND
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in related field OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates and Licenses: None required.

  • Advanced Excel / Financial modeling skills
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and research skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a group setting
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency.
  • Ability to travel 15% of the time
  • Ability to clear required background check

  • This is a home based position. This position is open to residents of, and may be performed remotely from Washington, D.C., and from any state except Colorado.

Compensation and Benefits:

We anticipate the salary range to be $76,000 to $126,100. The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
