RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is seeking a full-time Tax/Finance IT Product Manager to remotely support our enterprise technology client based in Austin, TX. The Product Manager will be responsible for compliance scope critical to success of Tax Compliance.

About the Team:

• Global team, interactions with team members located in APJ, US, EMEA regions
• Project calls and status meetings between 7AM and 11AM CT daily
• Heavy use of collaboration tools e.g. Team Foundation Server/Azure Dev Ops (TFS/ADO) to update scope, requirements, risk, issues
• 6 member product team: Product Manager (this role,) Cross Product Lead, 2 Product Manager (alternate scope,) 2 Sabrix Dev

Responsibilities:

• Lead Tax IT Indirect Tax Compliance scope within AP lifecycle
• Works with business partners to determine software requirements & system impacts
• Defines persona-based & customer-centric outcome-based roadmaps that align to key opportunities & strategic partnerships
• Works with internal stakeholders, external customers & users to validate business; Partners with engineers to drive alignment on those interests and ensure the development of key outcomes
• Plans communication, distributes information as necessary, and provides status reporting
• Works under specific direction of IT Managers or Cross Product Leads
• Has interaction with internal customers (i.e., Product Managers, Project Managers, and Business Analysts, etc.)
• Implements, designs and/or upgrades applications
• Establishes cost and time estimates for development/implementation of projects
• Produces business process flow charts
• Creates communication plans (correspondence, presentations, and other materials) for knowledge transfer to leadership
• Guides end users through complex application functionality

REQUIREMENTS:

• 8-10+ years of relevant experience in project/program/product management of large Tax software (Onesource/Sabrix or Vertex) or Finance ERP implementations; Prefer experience with SAP or Oracle ERP
• Experience in Pivotal, Agile or Waterfall project management practices
• Proven experience in managing global teams
• Ability to organize work for others and build relationships
• Results oriented, self-starter
• Tax Engine experience (Sabrix or Vertex) desired
• Oracle or SAP experience desired
• ERP AR or AP modules experience desired
