Location: Based out of Alexandria, VA with OCONUS Travel Required

SUMMARY

Perform setup, installation, maintenance, and repair services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

• Performs all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all equipment IAW Technical Orders and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) commercial manuals.
• Performs inspections, equipment modifications, repairs, and identify maintenance problem areas.
• Maintains and repairs tasks will require competency with electrical, welding, hydraulics, glass replacement/repair, and air conditioning.
• Completes daily reports, OEM checklist and requirements documentation on preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
  

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

No supervisory/management authority.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience working as a technician performing preventative, corrective, and repairs services.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Excellent oral, verbal, written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of operating in foreign environments.
• Working knowledge of repairing hydraulic systems.
• Working knowledge of repairing electrical control systems.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Travel: ~10% to support test development.
• Physical requirements can include walking, climbing, crawling through small spaces, and standing or sitting for long periods of time.
