Temporary Full-time HR Assistant
Paradise Valley Estates
Paradise Valley Estates (PVE) is an 80 acre, premier life plan community located in the foothills of Napa Valley in Fairfield, California. Founded originally as a military community, PVE has evolved to include all members of the community but the military heritage and values of Honor, Authenticity, Collaboration and Service still exist.
Working under the supervision of the HR Generalist, the HR Assistant will be responsible for maintaining HRIS data, assisting with payroll processing, 401k reporting and report building. Team support responsibilities might include backing up benefits, LOAs, recruitment and investigations. The chosen candidate will share PVE’s vision and values to be an excellent cultural fit.
Job Responsibilities and Competencies:
- Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data into the HRIS/Payroll system.
- Reviews and audits timekeeping records for compliance with established standards.
- Assists management with scheduler and time card processing, assuring all time cards are complete for timely payroll processing.
- Assists with recruitment as needed; reviews resumes, schedules and conducts phone screens and interviews, and assists with in-person interviews.
