Boeing Commercial Airplanes is currently seeking a Tool Fabrication Specialist to join their team in Helena, Montana! The Tool Fabrication Specialist will be responsible for bringing fabrication tools to tool engineering requirements within a hard-metals machining fabrication site for use in production.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Performs routine tool set up activities

• Makes minor repairs

• Performs manufacture, assembly and fabrication of tools

• Operates various factory support equipment to move materials and tools as required

• Provides tooling support to other organizations

• Assists in determining fabrication and assembly processes for the design

• Assists in reverse engineering design and fabrication processes for parts

• Works with the following hand-operated and floor-mounted power tools: Grinders, Cut-Off Tools, Disc Sanders, Drill Motor, Band Saw, Drill Press, Punching Machines

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

• Must be capable of working any shift

• 1+ years of experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite and/or other specialized computer applications

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 1+ years of experience using hand tools and/or hand-held power tools

• 1+ years of experience working with blueprints, specifications, assembly drawings and standard operating procedures

Typical Education/Experience:

High school diploma or GED and typically 1 or more years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
