We are seeking a Travel Labor And Delivery RN to join our team! You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients. This is a 13 week travel position located in Homer, AK!

Please note: This travel assignment is located in Homer, AK!

Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
• Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
• Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Maintain accurate patient medical records
• Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of Labor and Delivery Experience (2 years preferred...will also consider 6 months of L/D experience from a high risk labor facility and if they had 1+ years of postpartum/Mother baby experience)
• Small facility
• AK license is required
• Local Candidates accepted
• BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• STABLE preferred
• NRP, & AWHONN-intermediate certificate
• Unit: OB/L&D/Postpartum
• Labor/Delivery and Postpartum are required for this position
• Great community
• 4-5 hour drive to Anchorage 280 miles
• Fairbank - 300 miles
• Labor/Delivery and Postpartum are required for this position
• COVID vaccination required
• Nightshift (7p-7a)
• 12 hour shifts
• 13 week assignment
