The Opportunity
The Treasury Analyst/Associate is an integral part of our Treasury and Capital Markets Group and is responsible for ensuring an efficient banking structure to support our expanding operations. This position will be responsible for cash management activities including banking operations, internal and external reporting, and compliance with controls and policies. They will interact with internal stakeholders and external partners, and will assist with the servicing, reporting, and ongoing transaction management of our funding sources. The Treasury Analyst/Associate will continually seek to build efficiencies and improve processes, procedures, and workstation capabilities to help build a treasury infrastructure to support the Company's growth.
What you'll be doing
- Banking administration activities including establishing new accounts, account reviews, research requests, etc.
- Daily cash management activities such as preparation of warehouse funding requests and wire transactions
- Liquidity monitoring and reporting
- Perform ongoing investor and management reporting of executed securitization transactions and contractual debt obligations
- Support Capital Markets during additional capital raises and debt offerings, including review of transaction related documentation
- Ongoing monitoring and reporting of the Company's loan collateral management activities, covenant compliance, and audit processes
- Maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury and finance activities
- Contribute to the cash management strategy and support the cash forecasting process
- Support deployment and adoption efforts of automated treasury software solutions
- Recommend and implement process and reporting improvements and efficiencies; maintain process documentation and support business continuity planning
- Collaborate closely with other functional departments including Accounting, Finance, Capital Markets, Loan Operations, and IT
- Performs troubleshooting and ad-hoc analyses as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
What you bring to the team
- B.A or B.S in Finance, Economics is preferred
- 2+ years of experience in financial modeling and financial analysis
- 2+ years of experience in securitization, finance, or treasury
- Experience preparing monthly borrowing base certificates and/or monthly servicer reports
- Advanced Excel skills, specifically working with large datasets
- Technical skills to manipulate and analyze large datasets in a variety of formats (e.g. SAS, SQL, Access, etc.); demonstrated scripting/programming skills in at least one language is required
- Ability to work cross-functionally, particularly with Finance, IT and Loan Servicing teams
- Ability to represent the organization professionally and to cultivate and maintain relationships with funding and capital partners.
- Solid work/team ethic
Bonus Points
- 2+ years of experience in Treasury back office
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles preferred
Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $105,000. The position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. In addition, we're proud to offer a range of competitive benefits.
