Job description
As a Trust Receptionist, your day will be filled with opportunities to greet visitors to the Trust Department and perform general clerical/receptionist type duties along with supporting the department’s digital filing and client review materials production processes. Friendliness and attention to detail are important while Stock Yards Bank will provide a professional environment to continually improve the candidate’s skills and to further his/her career goals for advancement within the banking profession.
Responsibilities
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Answer phones and greet clients
- Check obituaries against a database of current clients
- Order office supplies and refreshments for the department
- Type basic client communications, using templates, if needed
- Enter paperwork into an electronic system either by data entry or by using optical scanners
- Ship and retrieve documents to/from offsite storage vendor; manage requests to access files and keep logs of borrowed papers
- Monitor, print, and bind client presentation documents on large production printer
- Monitor and sort incoming mail for distribution to coworkers
- Miscellaneous duties - includes special projects, assist with large volume mailings, quality control all scanning, typing, data entry, etc.
- Keep the reception area neat and complete other special projects as needed
Job Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Prior work in an office environment
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of filing systems
- Very good knowledge of office equipment such as photocopier, scanner etc.
- Good command of English both oral and written
- Dependable with respect to confidentiality and policies
- Excellent organizational skills & problem solving skills
- Great attention to detail
- Must be a people person
- Professional appearance and demeanor
