UI/UX Designer Opportunity:

Role: UI/UX Designer
Rate:  $60-$100/hr commensurate with experience

Summary:

The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design and will ensure that all elements of the online user experience are optimized for improved usability, usefulness, and exceptional visual design.

The successful candidate must have experience delivering adaptive and creative solutions to UI/UX design challenges, be up to date with best practices and emerging trends in user experience design and user interface technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Applies user-centered design principles to improve the workflow, expand the functionality, and enhance the visual appeal
• Gathers requirements from users and stakeholders, defines information architecture, creates sample user personas, and documents user workflow
• Designs wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
• Applies the results from user research and usability testing to create new features and improve current features
• Requires knowledge of visual design and wireframing/prototyping tools
• May perform user research, usability testing, or facilitate focus groups

Required Experience:

• A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years UI/UX design experience for digital products or services
• A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms
• Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UI design
• Proficient with visual design programs
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing interfaces
• Experience creating storyboards and site mapping
• Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize data for the best possible outcome
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently
• Professional written and interpersonal skills
