Performance-based Ushers are needed for NJPAC 2023-2024 Season (weekly hours worked vary between 4 and 24). Starting rate for all Ushers is $15/hr. Ushers will be scheduled according to availability, skill set and performance calendar. This position is a Union job.

Responsibilities:
 Must be friendly, polite and enthusiastic.
 Assist Head Usher with special requests as needed.
 Assist patrons by scanning tickets, greeting and escorting patrons to their seats, distributing programs, and attending to guests with special needs

Qualifications and Special Requirements:
 High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
 Flexible hours; Weekend availability required
 Experience in guest/customer service or hotel/hospitality industry
 Ability to anticipate and fulfill the needs and concerns of guests.
 Possess a sensitive, friendly, engaging personality, and polished demeanor.
 Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. NJPAC requires all employees to be fully vaccinated (including booster vaccination) for COVID-19 prior to starting work, unless precluded from doing so by applicable law. The CDC currently defines “fully vaccinated” as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson. Proof of vaccination is required prior to applicant’s first day of work.
