Quanta Telecom Solutions is seeking an Aerial lineman in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and the surrounding area.

Paid Weekly

Responsibilities include:​

• Perform various manual tasks in the construction and maintenance of fiber aerial.
• Assemble materials on the ground
• Flag traffic and set up job sites as directed
• Maintain organization of tools and materials on work vehicles
• Clean up and organize job sites at completion of work

When aptitude is demonstrated and work allows, lineman will receive training in the operation of some trucks, light equipment, and tools.

Skills and abilities:

• Able to adapt to seasonal temperature changes and inclement weather.
• Able to meet physical requirements. Actions include but are not limited to, standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, climbing ladders, cutting wire, lifting and maneuvering 90 pounds, and more.

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test
• Adhere to company safety and health policies - will receive safety training

This position is subject to a background check. Any job offer is contingent upon receipt of results of a satisfactory background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour

• Tuscaloosa, AL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
