Position Summary
The research coordinator will work under the direction of the lead research coordinator and will organize, execute, and monitor the implementation of new and existing clinical trials and research initiatives. These duties include, but are not limited to, organizing project start-up activities, conduct study activities, develop study procedures, train research staff, organize communications and meetings, conduct regulatory activities (e.g., IRB submissions, modifications, and renewals), and provide significant assistance with grant submissions.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
3 years of research experience or experience in a related field.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and internet browsers
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to identify needs and develop and implement improvements with evaluation expertise.
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent problem – solving and researching skills are required.
- Ability to clearly, concisely, professionally, and effectively communicate in writing and verbally with staff, faculty, and individuals in other organizations.
