The Vice President, Enterprise Agile Delivery is responsible for creating a seamless, integrated, transformation experience for people moving into a transformation team. As a key strategic leader, this role will drive the enterprise agile transformation and adoption of the New Way of Working (NWoW) methodology framework. As a key leader in the Agile Transition Office, reporting into the Agile Transformation leader, this role will be accountable for agile delivery through the enterprise coaching team, as well as the catalyst team, overseeing and supporting adoption of NWoW by new organizations and teams. This leader will and ensure a seamless, integrated and transformative experience for work and teams transitioning, operating and optimizing in the NWoW.
• Manage and evolve the agile coaching function accountable for enterprise agile coaching for all technology enabled transformation initiatives in the US businesses and Corporate Functions and IT delivery in the Chief Data Office and Chief Technology Office. The Agile coaching function that delivers impact by driving consistency and commonality and helping the organization reap the benefits of Agile at scale; leading and coaching the Agile Coach team to raise their expertise
• Build and evolve the enterprise competency in agile delivery, keeping organization current on new techniques, methods and tools. Measure effectiveness of agile transformation, garner insights and identify/implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Ensure agile coach team delivers impact by driving consistency and commonality, helping the organization to realize the benefits of agile at scale.
• Drive innovation by developing/acquiring new techniques/tasks/tools and applying those in projects. Bring deep subject matter expertise in agile and business acumen to build deep understanding of line of business and corporate function taxonomies and value chains.
• Partnering with leadership in the Agile Transition Office the Infrastructure & Tools Leader to understand the impacts of CI/CDeach foundational pillar on Agile methodologies .
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of 10 years in project/program management roles (using agile and traditional methods)
• At least 5 years delivering Agile projects utilizing a variety of methods including Scrum and SAFE, using collocated and distributed delivery model
• Exceptional people leader skills to enable the up skilling of agile coaches
• Proven track record of building and deploying an Agile function in a highly matrixed environment
• Strong, influencing, relationship building and communication skills, including written communications
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple simultaneous projects involving cross-functional product teams within budgetary and schedule constraints.
• Driving balance between the Project Portfolio / Program Management Office (PMO) and Program processes / standards and project value stream/journey/team needs / objectives
