Essential Functions
- Lead directors and managers in oversight of the development of strategic products and ensure adequate resource availability, the use of appropriate technology, upholding of quality standards, and on-time delivery of software releases.
- Challenges the product development teams to ensure the appropriate strategic, technical and tactical solutions are being implemented.
- Involved in project intake triaging relating to additional requests and initiatives to determine the impact, prioritization and need.
- Ensure activities comply with departmental development methodologies as well as regulatory and quality
- Develops and utilizes supporting metrics to show status, drive decisions, and identify risk.
- Present and influence members of senior leadership through concise, precise, and engaging presentations both locally and virtually and possess the skill to articulate the return on investment of all requests.
- Provides vision to managers to develop goals, plans, and problem-solving strategies.
- Sets the example to direct reports regarding ongoing personal and career development, feedback, coaching, mentoring and accountability

Skills needed to be successful
- Successfully demonstrated dynamic leadership .
- Strong in Microsoft development environments and technologies, Visual C++, C#, NET, ASP, CP<, ActiveX, Java, Angular and REACT as well as in Script and DHTML with the ability to propose, translate, and debate appropriate design measures.
- Extensive experience with database technologies: Intersystem, Cache, SQL Server, Oracle
- Solid knowledge of platforms and OS technologies: Microsoft Windows
- Excellent analytical capabilities for identifying and resolving engineering tradeoffs in product development
- Demonstrated planning skills to determine and meet departmental and company objectives by being creative, open minded and results driven.
- Understanding software development methodologies and industry accepted software quality standards.
- Ability to successfully work and communicate with clients and other departments in an effective, positive, and team spirited manner on a global scale
- Skillful at organizing, prioritizing, and making and executing decisions.
- Resourcefulness and ability to take the initiative in development and completion of work projects.
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse cultures and demonstrating cultural competencies required to work globally.
Required Experience & Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent related experience
- 10- years’ experience leading multidimensional software development process improvement initiatives.
- 10- years’ experience leading and implementing software automation on applicable product lines.
- 10 years’ experience planning to meet departmental and company objectives.
- 10 years’ experience with software development methodologies and industry accepted software quality standards.
- Experience leading the delivery of cloud-based solutions
Preferred Experience & Education
- 7 years’ experience managing global product development teams requiring collaboration between off-shore and us-based engineers
- Knowledge of healthcare software
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
Supervisory Responsibilities
- 3-7 Direct Reports up to 100 Indirect Reports

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position who is generally within the range of $149,300-$254,400 for annual base salary. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range..
Physical Requirements
- Work is performed in a normal office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds with assistance as part of office routine.
- Up to 25% travel may be required including international.
