Sonic Tools USA is actively seeking a Vice President of Sales & Marketing to join their team located and headquartered in Auburn, Alabama.

The Vice President of Sales & Marketing will plan and direct all aspects of the company’s marketing and sales policies, objectives and initiatives with proven success identifying key marketing outlets and competitive strategies that will enable achievement of maximum sales volume.

This position will report directly to the President and will work in synergy with the VP of Operation while managing a business unit, division or corporate function with major organizational impact. Qualified candidates will have career experience establishing overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business and will possess the business acumen and leadership experience to bring the sales & marketing division to become a top function for the company.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.
  • At least 8-10 years of industry-related experience including three years in upper management required.
  • Demonstrated success in both Sales and Marketing with proven success identified in progressive career and promotions and opportunities.
  • Experience and history of working for a growing company with increase revenue year after year.
  • Experience developing and implementing a cohesive and successful marketing plan to increase brand awareness and evolution of brand.
  • Experience and understanding of eCommerce
  • Strong digital marketing knowledge and experience
  • Experience and understanding of website creation and/or maintenance
  • Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics and Google Adwords
  • Email marketing experience using Mailchimp, Klayvio, Omnisent, Constant Contact or similar.
  • Influencer management experience & skills
  • Google Analytics proficiency
  • Experience with CRM software such as SalesForce, Zoho and digital marketing tools and techniques
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to work with internal and external writers for content creation
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with external vendors whose products or services are needed for the product
  • Excellent communicator with individuals at all levels of the organization; exhibiting strong interpersonal and intrapersonal skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Strategic mindset, critical thinking & quick decision-making skills
  • Strategic product planning experience
  • Track record of building relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR strategies
  • Ability to monitor all marketing campaigns and improve them when necessary
  • Experience preparing regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the President
  • Quick learner with ability to obtain working knowledge of the company’s products, competitive products and the market
  • An understanding and awareness of competitors’ activities to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Experience directing sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly;
  • Ability to develop effective sales incentive programs which support company’s goals for growth;
  • Experience as a working member of the company executive team helping create the sales and marketing strategy and go-to-market vision;
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills in both sales and marketing including:
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains management-level staff in the department.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the departments.
  • Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Sharp analytical skills with the ability to interpret, summarize and derive insights from large data sets to drive decision making and problem-solving.
  • Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to establish, implement, and communicate the strategic direction of the organization's revenue generation practices.
  • Ability to identify, recommend, and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline revenue growth.
