JOB SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for ensuring inventory is processed, organized, and stored. Other duties may include packaging, scanning and preparing orders for delivery while ensuring all duties are performed with efficiency and excellence.
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations; May also receive additional supervision from the VP, Strategic Procurement
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (These duties must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation. This document in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position):
Move inventory and materials across the facility- Process inventory for delivery and verifies all parts were shipped daily or communicated to that are on order for pending installs.
- Inspecting products for defects and damages
- Examine incoming and outgoing shipment.
- Organize warehouse space and inside office space.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.· Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location.
- Package items and label correctly.
- Scan and inspect delivered items to document all receipts of inventory items to ensure real-time accurate inventory counts and to ensure quality.
- Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisor.
- Stack and organize large bulk items.
- Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and delivery to proper location, if needed.
- Update logs and documentation for inventory processing.
- Move materials from facilities to workstations, pick-up locations, or other locations
- Wear safety gear at all times.
- Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles.
- Work as an active team member to complete team goals.
- Prepare documentation and inventory for audits.
- Notifies Director of Operations regarding lag/lead times for all supply.
- Ensures adequate amounts of product is stocked throughout each warehouse.
- Ensures shipping department is stocked with appropriate shipping supplies.
- Answer incoming calls as assigned and as transferred
- Documents all necessary information to submit to accounting for proper billing.
- Promptly report any allegations of impropriety to the Compliance Department.
- Comply with Maxor’s Ethical Business Conduct policy and Maxor’s Compliance Program.
- Remain free from exclusion under the OIG and SAMS Medicare/Medicaid lists.
- Complete required training, as assigned, within the established timeframes.
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
- Maintain regular attendance in accordance with established policies.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: 2-3 years of related experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Highly organized and able to store items efficiently
- Must have analytical and mathematical skills and be able to calculate totals quickly
- Ability to pay attention to detail and monitor the quality of inventory
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with inventory software, and able to upload data into the company system
- Ability to work independently
- Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds or more
- Ability to operate equipment to move or store inventory; i.e., pallet jacks
- Microsoft Excel experience
