Status: Full-Time, Hybrid

Responsibilities

• Develop performant, scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable web applications for use with all Talis Clinical High Acuity Products
• Develop full-stack web applications using ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Web API
• Develop backend and middle-tier services using SQL Server, C#, Entity Framework, WCF, GRPC, RESTful Web Services for Windows
• Develop front end applications using C#, Vue.js, HTML5, CSS, and Bootstrap
• Ensure good Memory management of all applications and services
• Use N-tier architecture with presentation, business & data access layers to produce secure modular components
• Refactor existing code for performance optimization
• Assist and support other team members in developing solutions to business challenges
• Coordinate with other architects and senior developers in architectural design and software development
• Coordinate team planning, meetings, and work assignment to meet project timelines
• Ensure compliance of best practices and policies in software development
• Ensure comprehensive security practices are continuously employed throughout the entire development and deployment processes
• Coach other developers
• Other duties as assigned

Required Experience

• Proficient in C#.NET, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API
• Strong experience with Vue.js, HTML5, CSS, and Bootstrap front end technologies
• Extensive experience with SQL Server, C#, Entity Framework, WCF, GRPC, and RESTful Web Services for Windows
• Proficient in developing performant, scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable full-stack Web applications.
• Demonstrated success in coaching and mentoring a team
• Accurately forecasting Level of Effort and meeting established deadlines
• Effective management of multiple simultaneous projects

Preferred Experience

• Experience developing applications and services in the health care industry especially related to EMRs (Electronic Medical Records) and high acuity work flows (e.g., ICUs)
• Experience working in international markets especially Europe
• Experience building multi-language applications
• Experience working in an Agile environment

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field with 8+ years relevant work experience
