POSITION: Welder - MIG
PAY: $20.00
LOCATION: Sturtevant, WI 53177
SHIFT HOURS: 1st shift - 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Overview: Under the direction of the Plant Manager this position applies the final weld to the frame.
Preparation:
- Move frame to be welded to welding area.
- Check welding unit is working properly.
Tasks:
- Sets up welding equipment and weld frames.
- Attach and weld any additional components not done by builders.
- Repairs units by dismantling, straightening, reshaping and reassembling parts.
- Other jobs or projects as assigned
- Meet the daily production schedule as provided by supervision
Requirements
Experience:
- One to three months related experience and/or training.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to read tape measurer
- Ability to work overtime
- Knowledge of MIG welding equipment.
