Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• As a Welder Level 2, you are responsible for producing high quality fabrications while Welding components made from aluminum, Carbon and stainless steel as well as the occasional exotic material.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
• Position and clamp metal components for welding without damaging the materials, including complex mitered/compound angles and saddle joints.
• Must be able to produce food grade, water tight and pressure tested welds in potentially hard-to-reach areas & produce these welds in all material thicknesses (as thin as .005” wall and unlimited thick)

Skills & Experience:

• 3 years of experience in welding and fabrication industry.
• Knowledge experience with drawings, weld callouts and GD&T.
• Must know the proper weld settings (Fronius and Miller machines) for welding various materials along with filler rod selection.
• Operate turn table/positioner for continuous OD/ID welding

Equipment Used:

• Measuring tools, calipers and other standard inspection equipment to measure tolerances within 0.010”

Education:

• HS Diploma, Trade school diploma or AA

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
