Western US Based Internal Help Desk Support/ Field IT Support / SaaS

Responsibilities and Duties: Facilities IT Support, Help Desk, SaaS,
Full-Time $18-$22 per hr.
- Act as part of an existing support team to assist with questions and issues for our internal tools, third-party products, and IT infrastructure, including troubleshooting hardware/software issues and errors.
- Ability to support users remotely via TeamViewer, AnyDesk, or other similar software.
- Work with internal teams, support desk, and developers to understand requirements for internal products and propose solutions.
- Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Southern’s internally-developed tools, some of which integrate with third-party APIs and software to fit our business processes.
- Take part in the maintenance of licensed third-party products, including our airline reservations system and airline departure control system.
- Other duties, as required, to ensure that our daily operations are smooth and successful.
Location/Hours - Full Time 40 hrs. per week Late Night/Over Night
- Mountain or Pacific Time applicants preferred: APPROX. Hours - 6:00 pm - 2:00 am PT 8-hour shifts, times may vary.
- Evenings, every-other weekend, holidays are mandatory
- Close proximity to one of our airports a plus: PHX, LAX, DEN, IPL,
- Work largely remote from home/virtual with occasional travel required for onsite troubleshooting and facilities setup/management
- Must have a quiet room/office to work from.
- Must have adequate internet to power supplied equipment.
Knowledge, skills, and experience:
- Prior airline experience, in any role, is a plus
- Prior IT support experience
- On-site wiring, facilities IT buildout experience
- Experience working with third-party SOAP, REST APIs. OpenTravel and/or NDC APIs are a bonus
- Some programming experience with PHP, Python, HTML/CSS/JS, or other languages
- Familiarity with PHP/Laravel is a plus
- Familiarity with an RDBMS and SQL preferred, such as MySQL or MSSQL
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
