OBJECTIVES
The purpose of this agreement is to promote the growth and profitability of Premier Communications Group (the Company) through effective account representation. This will be achieved by expanding our sales and service offerings to our current client base and by developing and securing new business.
The Company’s goal is to create an equitable means of compensation to eligible account coordinators in proportion to the value of their contributions to the Company. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
The Account Coordinator position is defined to fulfill a broad and varied range responsibilities in client relations and account support services. We strive to retain a diverse staff while focusing and utilizing the unique skill sets of each individual as outlined below.
The Account Coordinator provides tactical sales and marketing support to our current clients and prospects. Characteristics needed to perform successfully as a liaison with customers and company personnel are described as detail oriented with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
You will be responsible for assisting with marketing communications strategy development related to PR, social media, events, and creating content for all associated projects. In this role, you need to be experienced with incorporating online tools and in-person networking to create relationships and build the company’s brand, both online and off.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing communications efforts for the Company and its Clients.
- Provide copywriting abilities for clients from diverse range of mediums and industries within company approved writing standards for all mediums, i.e., press releases, and blogs, print, social and other collateral-related media.
- Able to successfully develop social media strategies; from content development to posting within primary channels.
- Accurately understands and able to review analytic data as it relates to on-line tracking, i.e., websites, blogs, SEO all social media channels.
- Actively, and consistently stays abreast of new social media techniques and applications that are pertinent to our client base and the unique industries they serve
- Assist in the development of new sales opportunities that are complimentary to the services we provide
- Assist in the development and distribution of new marketing strategies and sales materials
- Able to accurately estimate time and cost allocations for project quotations
- Able to manage job flow within all aspects of a project’s life cycle from estimate to final delivery
- Assist president and account managers with current client projects
- Assist in marketing for the Company
KEY DUTIES
- Content creation: writing blog posts, articles, newsletters, communications materials, and material for social media channels
- Public relations: managing incoming media requests and building relationships with industry journalists; creating, executing and measuring media campaigns. Responsible for ensuring active and engaged communities around a defined topic or topics by managing short and long-lead editorial calendars, monitoring online conversations and participating in those conversations to build brand visibility and thought leadership
- Communications/marketing strategy: responsible for assisting in creating strategic marketing/communications plans to provide direction for corporate and public-facing communications
- Social media marketing: creating, managing and growing client’s presence through blogs, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and other strategically relevant online properties. You will serve as the initial point of contact for inbound requests from online properties and the web at large
- Analytics: experienced in using Google Analytics and other measurement tools to provide reports on metrics, and continually find ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives
- Client relations: responsible for providing client support – answering questions however they come in (phone, e-mail, Twitter) and managing any online feedback forum pages
- Events and event planning: research, planning, attending and implementing public relations/marketing strategy and executing the process
- Business development: assisting in the development of new business and sales
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience developing and implementing tactical plans — including inspired and moderated solutions — that build and nurture online communities
- Demonstrated expertise in engaging and activating community groups
- Experience locating and engaging advocates within the community to foster dialogue
- Demonstrated ability to work with client on developing on-brand messaging that best represents their voice and tone online and incentivizing user-generated content creation and sharing
- Experience establishing metrics, gleaning community insights and reporting/recommending strategies that achieve marketing goals
- Understanding what’s possible on the various technology platforms and the ability to educate and integrate the needs of clients, creative team and developers
- Excellent communication skills and creative writing skills.
- Culture fit – as a small business, it is imperative to understand the company’s methodology and culture.
- Education –a degree in journalism, communications or English, or a PR or corporate communications certificate
