This is a Temporary to Possible Full Time position.
The requirement is for someone with general office or bookkeeping skills, maybe with some QuickBooks experience.
The role will be heavy on data entry, filing, and support for the Operations Accountant. Excel intermediate level is required. The ability to stand and lift 30 pounds would help with filing. Attention to detail and the ability to work remotely are important.
Skills we are Looking For:

2 Years of Accounting or bookkeeping experience. An accounting degree is helpful.

- Fishing Experience a bonus but not critical
Duties to Learn:
- Print and Save all Vessel Transactions
- Process Shipments from Parity – Fix Container Cards and Post Shipments
- Process Shipments for non-Parity Products – Create Container Cards and Load Shipments
- Start Fish Tickets and run Parity Integration to post production and load shipments (depending on ASI or WSI)
- Production Reports for Non Parity items in WSI – PCod, Crab, Bottom Fish
- Post Vessel Transactions – posting checks and creating invoices to apply to Vessel Accounts
- Help Prepare Settlements – save, print, file check copies, mail out checks, update the spreadsheet for the plants and create labels
- Some Filing
- ASI Local Pay Entries
- Deposits for WSI and Sales Journals for ASI
- Other duties as assigned
