Sparks Group has teamed with several prominent and successful companies in the Metro DC area to identify talented and motivated recent college graduates for accounting and finance roles. Responsibilities:
- Perform entry-level accounting or financial analysis functions that may include processing accounts receivable or processing accounts payable, or preparing financial statements
- Support month-end close process
- Assist with general ledger reconciliation
- Develop forecast models
- Consolidate and analyze budgets & income statement forecasts
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Background profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Business Administration or other relevant fields is a must
- 0-3 years of accounting/finance-related internship or professional experience
- High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
