Job description
Conducts and participates in activities including, but not limited to the design, build, support, and overall system management of all hospital financial or clinical applications.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains a thorough working knowledge of hospital financial or clinical applications.
- Performs system activities and functions including design, development, build, testing, implementation, training, upgrades, and support of all hospital financial or clinical applications.
- Maintains an issues work list and conduct regular and thorough follow-up with interested parties.
- Performs daily/weekly/monthly duties related to financial or clinical systems and processes.
- Completes work order and invoice processing in a timely manner.
- Performs daily activity analysis and balancing functions for the hospital
- Provide primary support and maintenance for financial or clinical systems as determined by the Applications Coordinator or Manager.
- Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Immediately reports and mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injury-accident to the director.
REQUIRED
1. B.S. Degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science or related field or Three (3) years healthcare systems experience, or five (5) years information systems experience.
2. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
