Job Description:

The Assistant Controller is a high-impact role that will work cross-functionally throughout the organization. This person will report to the Director of Finance and Accounting and be responsible for full-cycle accounting, month-end reporting and managing accounting operations. The role is designed for someone who is detail-oriented and eager to seek out new ways to make an impact.

• Preparing and consolidating financial statements
• Establishing and maintaining internal controls
• Managing all aspects of the general ledger
• Prepare semi-monthly payroll
• Providing monthly, quarterly and year-end analyses
• Play a key role in the billing automation system implementation team
• Assist with M&A diligence and post-acquisition integrations
• Coordinating or assisting with the budget process
• Researching accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Serving as a liaison to external auditors and tax preparers
• Supervising accounts receivable, accounts payable and general accounting departments for adherence to US GAAP
• Monitor state physical and economic nexus and register as needed
