General Summary:
Support HCI department with development, tracking, and implementation of new processes and systems in support of the Power Protect Red Label (PPRL) line of products. Coordinate with various teams (Field, Accounting, FP&A, IT, etc) and vendors (Safe-Guard, PayLink Direct, ChannelNet etc.) to assist with the expansion of the Power Protect Red Label program, process, and systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying process pain points and problems. Document and analyze current processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Assist in formulating recommendations, developing solutions, and execution of recommendations. Work with departments/teams/vendors to solve problems and encourage diversity of opinions while lending expertise to the process and work with business areas to implement changes/solutions. Adapt to changing environments by continued reevaluation of existing processes, technology, structure, policies, and procedures to ensure best practices are in place in support of Power Protect Red Label
- Project management, planning, scheduling, and tracking of key strategic initiatives and enhancements related to the PPRL program
- Provide necessary reporting on the Power Protect Red Label program (performance, issues, stats)
- Collaborate with Field Team and Management on Power Protect Red Label expansion and risk mitigation strategies by introducing new processes and/or work with IT/Vendor on system enhancements (eg. Digitalization / Mobility)
- Lead governance efforts by documenting policies & procedures, standard operating procedures, and/or program training materials to support expansion of the PPRL program
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of how process design and improvements connect with systems design
- Strong financial background
- Working knowledge of Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable processes
- Knowledge of performance improvement principles, tools and techniques
- Strong PC: Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Access, Visio, Projects
- Systems familiarity (JDE ERP; Seibel CRM; Salesforce.com; Daybreak, Data Warehouse (EDW), LeasePak)
- Experience with enterprise video communication tools such as Zoom, Blue Jeans, and Microsoft Teams
- Reporting Software experience desired (JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, OBIEE, SAS, Workbench etc.)
- Experience with creating Management / Operational reporting (eg. accounting, sales, scorecards, project status, etc.)
- Solid quantitative, data modeling and analytical skills
- Strong organizational/planning skills
- Resourceful and innovative problem-solving skills – focus on how to get tasks completed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Client service driven with excellent relationship management skills
- Ability to effectively engage with and present to the team and business partners
- Ability to facilitate collaboration with diverse groups both internal (Hyundai) and external (vendors)
- Team oriented, but able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Self-directed and results-oriented
- Flexible, adaptable, and hands-on approach
- 5+ years process improvement / project management / consulting experience
- 1-2 years related captive / auto finance industry experience (Credit/Funding, Servicing, F&I etc.)
- Major consulting firm / auto industry experience a plus
- Business Process Management (BPM) experience a plus
- Experience in a start-up company a plus.
- Experience with business process design/improvement, including gathering requirements, documenting workflows and developing specifications
- Experience working with IT teams to develop business requirements, to provide business guidance, to track status, and to participate in the testing of the solution.
- Experience in facilitating engagement and organizational change issues
- Bachelor’s Degree required
Physical Requirements and Working Condition:
Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.
