INCODEL is seeking an experienced Automotive Wiring Harness/EDS Engineer
Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify key components of the Electronic Distribution System that INCODEL have an opportunity to develop
- Analyze and read wiring harness engineering drawings and oversee build to print jobs
- Accurately quote wiring harnesses based on BOM and drawings
- Be knowledgeable about international standards and regulations
- Find suitable replacement parts in the event of obsolete or missing materials
- Find any deviations between a build to print product and drawings
- Find the best source possible for components
- Work with OEM engineering to address quality and design issues
- Redraw and redesign obsolete harnesses
- Catalog and organize subcomponent drawings and specifications
- Help determine course of action for rejected parts
- Manage multiple tasks and support Engineering department
- Other duties as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field
- At least 3 years of automotive industry experience is strong preferred
- Strong understanding of vehicle wire harness systems required
