Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team in Plano, TX.
Make an Impact:
A Business Intelligence Analyst, collects data about an organization’s operations to improve its systems and processes. The primary duties include researching business processes, making reports with recommendations to the company’s management and analyzing the potential impact of the recommendations and act as facilitator and mediator for all business systems.
Key Result Areas (KRAs)
Analyzing the structure of a business to determine how it operates and its objectives Identifying any problems with the current business model Designing potential solutions to any problems identified during the research phase Preparing and delivering a report of the findings to leadership with comprehensive risk and impact assessment Developing comprehensive end-to-end (E2E) test cases at the application and multi-application levels Overseeing the implementation of approved process improvements Carrying out training sessions and workshops to guide relevant teams Carrying out periodic quality checks Developing and managing business intelligence solutions Providing reports through MS Office applications to improve business processes Collaborating with team members for the purpose of collecting data and executing the company’s mission Analyzing business requirements and processes and making recommendations to management and executives for implementation Identifying the development needs for the purpose of streamlining and improving the operations of the organization for efficiency and profitability

Preferred Education, Certification and Experience
Educational Requirements: The selected candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
IT Development:Â The ideal candidate will be able to develop, implement and maintain Manufacturing IT tools in:
Power BI Power Query AS400 Office 365 SQL SAP Azure
The candidate selected for this position will be a creative, out-of-the-box thinker who is intellectually curious with a demonstrated interest in learning. This person will also need to be a self-motivated, high-energy individual who can easily function in a high demand, performance-driven environment. He/she must be accustomed to working on multiple tasks in parallel.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
Interfaces with:
The Business Intelligence Analyst will report to the VP of Manufacturing and will have direct interface with the following departments: Production Planning, Design, Procurement, Quality, and Engineering.
Physical Demands
This is a 70% sedentary role and 30% active; It is necessary for this role to walk in all the facilities to implement and supervise the improvement supply chain projects.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
The employee must be available during the “core†work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Travel
Some international travel will be required to the manufacturing facilities to understand the data collection process.
