CALL CENTER POSITION. Hours are Full Time 8a-5p and Fri 8a-4p. Location-Norristown
Position Description
Einstein Physicians Montgomery is our primary care network providing care to individuals of all ages, from infants to senior citizens. Our network of physicians includes Family Practice doctors, Internists, Obstetricians, Gynecologists and Pediatricians. Our practice sites are located throughout Northwest, North and Northeast Philadelphia, Norriton, Eastern Montgomery County and Lower Bucks County.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Enhancing patients/customers experience by providing clerical/technical support, in a manner consistent with the Code of Conduct
- Using independent judgment and problem-solving skills to enhance customer experience
- Accurately and promptly collecting all pertinent patient information verifying insurance, referral, and patient demographic information, advising patients on co-pays and schedules appointments
- Assisting with the orientation & training plan for new employees
- Maintaining knowledge of network services and resources available to patients
- Handling patient inquiries or complaints or send to appropriate medical staff members and follow up to ensure satisfactory resolution
- Explaining policies, procedures, or services to patients using medical or administrative knowledge
- Reading current literature, continue education, or participate in professional organizations or conferences to keep abreast of developments in the field

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 to 2 years of related work experience or previous health care experience preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced office environment with the ability to verbally communicate information to staff and patients in a professional and exceptional customer focused manner
- General typing proficiency preferred
- Spelling, grammar, and telephone etiquette skills are required
- Excellent prioritization, decision-making, multi-tasking skills are essential in this key position
