We are currently hiring for: Delivery Driver – Class A
The Class A Deliver Driver is responsible for operating 53’ trailer (both manual and automatic) to move product, equipment, or materials on a dedicated route.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-Trip and Post-Trip. Checking vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
- Maneuvering trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.
- Collecting delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes.
- Maintaining logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
- Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
- Working in collaboration with the transportation coordinator and dispatch to ensure customers’ needs are met.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year Class A driving experience.
- Experience driving both manual and automatic.
- Excellent customer service.
- Positive attitude.
- Excellent safety record.
- Candidate must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug and background screen.
