Design Group is recruiting for a Collateral Designer in our Atlanta, GA location.

WHAT WILL I DO IN THIS ROLE?
You will work closely with the Creative and Product Development Departments to manage projects and design print collateral for our internal brands and trend documents. You will be responsible for managing the overall design, product placement, and print production for several company brands. You will develop catalogues and print materials from start to finish with guidance from the business.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design layout for brand catalogues and trend documents.
• Organize and collect data needed to compile marketing materials.
• Create digital renderings of products to be included in catalogues.
• Maintain a process to update and correct catalog information.
• Establish and maintain a web-based catalog for internal use and customer viewing.
• Maintain up-to-date trend knowledge of the latest layouts, substrates and marketing materials.
• Assist with various departmental projects.

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years of mid-level design experience working with both print and graphic design including experience designing product catalogues and marketing materials.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with various departments to gather necessary product information.
• Proficient with the Adobe Suite. Advanced knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
• Advanced knowledge of catalogues, print development and pre-flighting printer files prior to going to press.
• A deep understanding of fundamental design discipline and principles.
• Ability to create clean, modern design with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work on rapid development projects as well as long-term projects with the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
