The Homestead Assisted Living Community is looking for looking for an experienced Cook. As the Cook, your primary role is to please our residents by preparing our full menu of Homestead favorites!
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- 1 year of experience in food service (preferred)
- ServSafe Certification (preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Meet our company standard of quality, safety, cleanliness, and hospitality in providing residents with the most satisfactory food possible
- Ensuring that all food meets the highest quality standards and is served on time.
- Ensure best practices for safety and sanitation are upheld in the kitchen
- Preparing, distributing, and storing food in volume that maintains nutrition and food quality
- Setting dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order
- Assist in delivering dishes and trays to residents.
- Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels, and silverware following each meal.
