Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• 
  Responsible for all consumer facing copy

• Holds the key to brand’s voice and tone

• Works closely with the creative team and other marketing team members to develop solutions

• Own the copy aspect of all marketing materials

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• BA or equivalent in English, Marketing, or a related field

• 8+ years of experience as a copy writer in a marketing role (or similar)

• Experience working with consumer electronics products and or residential
  energy preferred

• Experienced and thoughtful, someone who knows how to enhance brand presence across multiple channels

• Responsible for all consumer facing marketing materials

• Must bring creativity and originality to projects

• Skilled at writing both short-form and long-form content – ie. Smart, short headlines and blog posts

• Enjoys partnering with designers to align words with visuals

• Ability to execute quickly, independently, and with limited supervision

• Resilience in making edits and rewriting content when feedback is received

• Ability to stay organized, balance multiple projects at once, and effectively communicate (and stick to) deadlines

• Ability to work within the team, be collaborative, and constructive

• Occasionally meeting with and leading team discussions.

• Product copy / semi technical but for the consumer

• Marketing/sales collateral – brochures, etc.

• Support for humanitarian efforts (marketing materials such as the above)

• Blog content

• Video scripts

• User Guide copy generation

• Translate technical copy into consumer-friendly copy

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

• 
  In person open office environment – Primary

• Evening and weekend work as job duties demand, especially in collaborating and syncing up with overseas partners

• Domestic and International Travel up to 10% may be required

• Occasionally requires lifting up to 50lbs as appropriate to perform duties and responsibilities
