Jacksonville Gentle Dentistry, a busy private multi-specialty dental practice has an opening for a mature, reliable Dental Receptionist to become an integral member of our team.

Qualifications:

• 1 year dental receptionist or dental assisting experience
• Pleasant personality with excellent communication skills
• Fluent in English, dependable and reliable
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft office is required
• Familiarity with Sofdent is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Greet patients and make them feel comfortable
• Prepare and present treatment plans
• Verify insurance coverage and co-payments
• Answer questions, collect payments and insurance info
• Maintain dental records
• Perform filing, scanning
