_Calaveras County Public Health Division is searching for a dedicated Department Analyst who will help improve the health of Calaveras residents through strategic program support and grant administration. Analysts for the Public Health Division are tasked with developing creative solutions to health challenges specific to our community. Work with talented professionals in health education, clinical care, social services, and emergency preparedness to address health disparities within Calaveras.
The mission for our division is to improve the health and well-being of everyone in Calaveras County. As a Department Analyst, you can help work toward this goal through community-based activities that focus on program funding, public health needs, and grant oversight. The Department Analyst provides support for local health policy development, data analysis, funding procurement, and evidence-based prevention practices.

Under general supervision, performs responsible administrative, organizational, systems, budgetary, statistical and other analysis and staff support related to a department, division, or specified program within a department, performs paraprofessional development, implementation and administration of department/program policy and procedure; and may provide day-to-day and project supervision to administrative support staff as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.12 - $36.62 per hour
