Two-Year College English or Business Degree preferred or equivalent experience; at least five years’ experience in taking minutes of upper management meetings, customer service, records management, and business operations; knowledge of current records management procedures; strong ability to maintain strict confidentially, proficient in Microsoft Word; ability to operate routine office equipment, ability to interact courteously with the public and elected officials, ability to learn complex City Codes; minimum 55 wpm typing skill; shorthand, speedwriting, or other quick note taking skills; and excellent organizational, writing and oral communication skills.

VACATION: No Vacation in first year of employment. Earn 6.67 hours per month.
1st Year of Service - 2 Weeks paid Vacation (Earned Monthly)

Employees can 'Roll Over' 1 year's plus 1 week vacation accrual from year to year. Credit may be given to new hires for prior government service for accruals.
In First Year of Service - Accrued monthly, up to 4 days per year
2 to 5 Years of Service - 4 days per year
5 Years and Over - 5 days per year
