Covenant Physician Partners is hiring a Director, Clinical Services to join our team at our Nashville Service Center located in Downtown Nashville, TN.

About the Opportunity

This position reports to the SVP of Clinical Services working to identify Ambulatory Surgical Centers best practices and standardize those across multiple sites and states. Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse and travel is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists in development and implementation of standardized surgery center policies and procedures.
• Assists Information Services with training and implementation of electronic health record in multiple surgery centers.
• Participates in the due diligence process performing a clinical evaluation of potential acquisitions.
• Assists centers with Infection Control and QAPI program as required setting up programs and providing ongoing support.
• Performs mock CMS and AAAHC surveys and completed an action plan for deficiencies.
• Assists with written plans of correction as required.
• Serves as clinical resource to center and Regional Vice Presidents.
• Performs research as required.

About the Candidate

• Current RN license required.
• Baccalaureate degree in relevant field; Masters preferred.
• 5 years experience in ambulatory surgery leadership including Administrator/Center Director or Director of Nursing experience.
• GI and Ophthalmology experience is preferred.
• Documented experience effecting change within a multi-disciplinary health care services environment.
• Experience in a multi-site, multi-state provider.
• Ability to assess site for survey readiness and provide a plan of corrective action.
• Member of AORN, ASGE, or other ambulatory clinical practice organizations.
• Understands regulatory and accrediting body processes (JC, AAAHC, CMS).
• Able to lead corporate quality initiates.
• Able to use basic office computer applications (word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, etc.).
• Familiar with electronic health records and their use and structure.
• Uses statistical analysis software appropriately.
