Strafford Care Center is actively seeking qualified candidates interested in joining our Nursing Team fulfilling the role of Director of Nursing. Our continued commitment to improving the quality of our services while ensuring compassion and individualized care is delivered to all those in need, requires a team approach that encompasses all areas of patient care. Our Nursing Department is committed to providing compassionate, quality, resident centered care to our residents. Ideal candidates will be knowledgeable in their scope of practice, possess strong leadership skills or be willing to learn and develop them, goal oriented, and committed to creating a team that excels. Candidates must possess a valid RN license in the state of Missouri.

Some duties include but are not limited to;

· Oversight of our nursing department to ensure all residents are receiving needed cares

· Team development including education, follow-up, and measures which improve resident outcomes as well as the overall workplace environment.

· Review nursing data and implement strategies to improve areas as required.

· Ensure the facility is in compliance with regulatory requirements.

· Lead and develop a team that utilizes communication effectively to ensure the facility operates as efficiently as possible.

· Review potential referrals for placement, while taking into consideration the current facilities acuity to ensure care needs can be met.

· Duties within your scope of practice as a Registered Nurse as required.

· Other duties as assigned.

**This position does require on-call time which is divided with the entire nursing management team**

Strafford Care Center is a 78 bed skilled nursing facility conveniently located in Strafford, Missouri just 10-15 minutes East of Springfield, Missouri on I-44 and 15-20 minutes west of Marshfield, Missouri on I-44.
