Dog Walking & Pet Sitting Opportunity:

Spend your days providing peace of mind to our human clients by walking/sitting their pets and giving their pets much-needed emotional and physical exercise and attention. Dog Walking and Pet Sitting involves travel to clients’ homes to take care of all kinds of pets – dogs, cats, bunnies, fish, birds, etc. This is a local job with travel between visits required. You MUST have reliable transportation and are ok to drive up to 20 minutes between visits.

Pet Care Associates receive a tentative schedule at the beginning of each week. Schedule is very fluid with no guaranteed hours, and changes frequently due to client needs. Flexibility and communication are a must!

Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

• Meeting and exceeding client requests
• Respect their home and belongings
• Treat animals in your care as if they were your own
• Follow and complete your assigned schedule, document daily walks/visits and take photos in our pet software system
• Communicate any issues or concerns to management immediately

Requirements:

• An absolute love of dogs, cats, and all animals
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• A reliable smartphone with the ability to download and use our app on a regular basis
• Enjoy walking several miles a day in ALL types of weather, We walk dogs and get to kitty visits in rain, snow, or heat and humidity!
• Ability to walk dogs of all sizes and strengths (for as little as 15 minutes and as long as 60 minutes depending on client requests).
• Live in a town within or near our service area (South Shore of MA)
• Successfully pass background and reference checks
• Available at least two weekends per month and some holidays and evenings
• Mature, professional, dependable, and fun to work with
• Must LOVE animals!

PRIOR DOG WALKING EXPERIENCE IS HELPFUL BUT NOT NECESSARY. ALTHOUGH YOU MUST BE ABLE TO HANDLE ALL SIZES & STRENGTHS OF DOGS.
