We are currently seeking an EMR Administrator to work at IMA’s offices at 1026 Broad Street in Shrewsbury, NJ 07702
Position Summary: The EMR Administrator will be responsible for optimizing the utilization and maintenance of the organization’s electronic health record system, improving the delivery of patient care, and enhancing the quality of data. The EMR Administrator will act as an internal liaison for end users by providing assistance and training on the functionalities of the EMR. Serve as the point-of-contact coordinating ticket requests and troubleshooting EMR-related issues. The individual will work with internal and external teams on EMR system upgrades, workflow enhancement requests, implementations, system configurations, maintain test environments improving usability of the system.
Qualifications: Associate degree in healthcare, human services, computer science, or related field or equivalent work experience in related field is required; 3-5 years’ experience with an electronic health record preferred. (Greenway Intergy strongly preferred). Certification in Greenway Intergy is a plus. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, and applications including Work, Excel, and PowerPoint are required. Applicant will have strong technical and problem-solving skills and excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills. Also required is the ability to work independently and in a team environment; to multi-task and prioritize workload. Applicants should also have the ability to stand, walk or sit for an extended period of time, the ability to hear within normal range, the ability to see within normal range; and to spend extended periods of time at a computer.
