Job description
Develop and coordinate family events and volunteer opportunities for families using child care services. Assist families in helping children transition to kindergarten and participate in recruitment and outreach efforts. Hours per week 35: Monday - Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. Salary $15.94/hourly (COVID Vaccine Required)
Requirements:Knowledge, Skills Required:
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Services or Education
- Public speaking
- Event planning
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Special Requirements:
- Valid NYS Driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willing to travel and work flexible hours
- Ability to obtain initial and health physical and maintain every 2 years
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to provide consistent even tempered customer service at all times
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
