PRIDESTAFF is currently accepting applications for an immediate opening for a Field Service Technician with a growing company in the Hartford area. This is a full-time direct hire opportunity!

PrideStaff has partnered with one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-end injection molding machines for plastics processing who are experts on efficient injection molding.

Extensive training on specific equipment and processes will be provided by the company. Responsibilities:

• Installation of new injection molding machines, robotics and automation systems in a specified territory and providing subsequent customer training.
• Independently diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing highly sophisticated injection molding machines.
• Rebuilding and modifying molding machines according to factory specifications.
• Assist with process optimization according to customer requirement.
• 3 Months of in house Company training in Rocky Hill, CT
• 2-3 Nights a week on average for over night stays when traveling to customer locations
• 4 Weeks of training at corporate head quarters in Germany

Qualifications:

• 3+ years’ experience in field service or manufacturing utilizing a high degree of electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic diagnosis and knowledge.
• Able to read and decipher electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Electrically trained, capable of hydraulic troubleshooting with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Plastic processing knowledge required.
• Have an Associate’s degree in electronics or a related field or related experience.
