Job Description
Position Summary
The Senior Financial Systems Analyst role is responsible for technical development, maintenance and operations support of several Financial Applications, with particular focus on Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) suite of cloud applications, including Financial Close and Consolidation, Account Reconciliation, and Planning, as well as SAP ERP. This position is also responsible for governance, maintenance and support of Finance Master Data and related data alignment and mappings across systems. Responsibilities include analysis, design and development of application components in addition to proactively identifying enhancement opportunities.
Essential Functions

  • Understand, interpret and transform business problems, opportunities and requirements for recommending Oracle EPM solutions and financial master data that enables the organization to achieve its goals.
  • Technical development and enhancement of the Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Platform including Financial Close and Consolidation, Planning, and Account Reconciliation.
  • Technical implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex calculation manager rules tasks, metadata, forms, Smart View templates, reports and automation scripts.
  • Manage integration and automation of data flow between Oracle and various systems, including SAP.
  • Work with IT on ongoing application maintenance, upgrades, development, testing and implementation of application enhancements.
  • Create and maintain security groups for access to EPM applications.
  • Work with IT team to manage backups, migrations, and patch testing of multiple EPM environments and monitor ongoing performance of applications.
  • Conduct regression testing upon Oracle monthly system updates.
  • Partner with key super users to develop and evolve the applications while ensuring a stable, productive environment.
  • Assist with data validation across source and EPM systems as needed.
  • Maintain Finance Master Data including general ledger accounts, cost centers, profit centers, hierarchies, internal orders, etc.
  • Utilize standardized SharePoint forms and workflows to manage master data and metadata requests, approvals, and required key controls documentation.
  • Support Finance teams during month-end close, quarterly forecasts, annual operating plan, SAP go-lives, reorganizations and restatements, and special projects.
  • Support onboarding of new acquisitions.
  • Provide customer service to end users to aid and guide general users.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, or Information Technology
  • 5 - 8 years technical development experience with Oracle Enterprise Performance Management FCC or Planning with significant experience in writing business rules and developing forms and reports

  • Experience with FDMEE or Data Management, EPM Automate and Windows scripting
  • Strong understanding of SAP
  • Strong functional background of Close/Consolidation and Budgeting/Forecasting
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Oracle Data Relationship Management (DRM) or Enterprise Data Management (EDM) experience

IPC (Information Processing Capability)

  • Strong maturity and integrity as the position deals with highly confidential business information
  • Strong attention to detail for completeness, accuracy and consistency of metadata and master data
  • Ability to manage competing demands, accept criticism and constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a matrix organization and influence others who do not report directly to them

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
