Position Title: Financial Planning Assistant

Position Description: Step into an instrumental role. Help conduct the smooth operation of a fast-paced and friendly financial planning office. Work as an employee of an independent advisor franchisee with a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial. Assist in daily business operations.

This position provides client relationship and general practice management support through gathering data, organizing client files, setting up new business, and other business management tasks as needed. Assist financial planning specialist(s) in managing and organizing office workflow with an emphasis on creating and delivering a unique client experience that defines and differentiates the practice. This position will consistently follow high standards of business and professional ethics and legal and regulatory requirements when dealing with others and/or performing work activities. We run on the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System).

Position Functions:

· Schedule client appointments and prepare agendas and forms for appointments.

· Contact client to gather factual, client-level profile information, such as age, address, income, marital status, etc.

· Accept or make changes to a client’s address or other administrative account information.

· Prepare charts, graphs, tables, and other visual aids to be used in implementation meetings with clients.

· Attend client meetings and take notes.

· Manage and resolve client service issues.

· Copy and follow-up with home office on related issues.

· Conduct client check-in calls/emails on follow up items.

· Answer questions and provide readily available information to clients, if requested and as allowable, as it relates to servicing their accounts.

· Document client contact/calls using Salesforce.

· Maintain files and records in accordance with the records retention policy.

· Perform other allowable duties as assigned by the financial specialist(s).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year
