FRANCHISE OPERATIONS ASSISTANT – JOB DESCRIPTION

ARCHETYPE Franchise Concepts, a division of ARCHETYPE Investments, is looking for a Franchise Operations Assistant who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and financials for multiple national franchise brands within the food industry and service stations. You will work closely with each location manager to ensure that franchise specific regulations and standards are met while maintaining even higher quality standards set by our management team. Franchises include sweetFrog, Subway, Qdoba, 76 Gas and Anytime Fitness, located in Watauga, Wilkes, Yadkin and Surry Counties in North Carolina.

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with the owner and franchise operations manager to ensure operational success of franchises across multiple brands
• Direct and hold franchise teams accountable for service and operations excellence
• Develop and train franchise operators into effective leaders who are capable of developing their own team
• Ensure adherence to individual franchise procedures, policies and specifications designed to deliver the highest quality product to customers
• Conduct random inspections and audits of restaurants to ensure brand standards are being met
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly financial and performance analysis of each location
• Set measurable goals with the franchise teams and implement plans to achieve financial performance
• Manage restaurant budgets focusing on systems to drive sales and reduce prime-costs
• Develop and implement best practices in cooperation with the restaurant management teams
• Creating of culture building activities to drive employee development and effectively reduce turnover
• Develop and implement monthly payroll budgets
• Develop and implement monthly and quarterly food cost targets
• Develop and implement initiatives to drive sales growth
• Ensure all stores are adequately staffed with quality team members and shift supervisors
• Maintain management depth by regularly planning for succession, actively recruiting and critically selecting internal and external management candidates
• Manage P&L including cost of goods sold and operating expenses
• Follow up on all customer and employee complaints and ensure necessary corrective measures at store level
• Ability to work independently and effectively communicate objectives and performance to top level management

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or any related field - preferred
• 3+ years of operations experience in the restaurant industry, franchise experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and effectively communicate objectives and performance to top level management
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and writing
• Ability to clearly articulate financial goals and objectives
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Team player mentality, be able to quickly adapt to change, and have a positive attitude
• Computer Skills – MS Word and MS Excel intermediate or advanced
• Competitive salary and bonus. Potential profit sharing based on achievements
