pCare, headquartered in Lake Success, NY, is the award winning, leading provider of interactive patient systems in the healthcare industry.

We are currently seeking a Healthcare Informatics Business Analyst to join our product team. You will work collaboratively alongside other members of our product team. You will be instrumental in translating customer and market needs to solutions provided through our suite of products. Your main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing and coordinating user acceptance testing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Lead business process discovery and produce system and process maps to support the project.
• Understand and evaluate business processes, including defining, developing, and documenting business use cases and requirements.
• Perform gap analysis for current system and business processes.
• Recommend and create business process improvements that satisfy corporate goals and business needs.
• Develop project plans and monitor progress on deliverables to ensure adherence to deadlines.
• Partner with developers, when applicable, to write technical development requirements.
• Develop and lead testing plans and training for applications and new business processes.
• Perform root cause analysis of business system issues.
• Communicate issues, solutions and plans to cross-functional teams, stakeholders, developers, and team members.
• Be the subject matter expert for developed applications and business processes.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Information Technology or commensurate professional experience
• Minimum of three years’ experience in business analysis or a related field. Healthcare Informatics experience is a plus.
• Experience working with EMR integrations (HL7 and/or FHIR) for a healthcare provider organization or an organization that provides services to front-line healthcare workers is preferred.
• Business analytics and modeling report design with a demonstrated ability to produce simple and compelling presentation of data including experience with Machine Learning and AI.
• Excellent documentation, analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Superior communication skills.
• Strong ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities.
• Willingness and ability to collaborate with peers and stakeholders at all levels.
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, Databases, and ERP Systems and Processes.

This Business Analyst will work remotely. Some travel will be required in order to allow the Business Analyst to better understand the end user experience with our products.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
