Position Summary
Under the direction of the Program Manager, this position serves as a liaison between TAZ teaching staff and administration and the Arc of Monmouth Program Administrator to coordinate and manage the implementation of program activities. Responsibilities include coordination of schedules and room assignments, procurement of instructional supplies and equipment, management of the grant budget and associated reporting.
Description of Duties
- Work directly with TAZ teaching staff to:Confirm class schedule
Secure rooms/technology needs
Serve as point of contact on campus
- Submit and manage Pos for instructor fees and all services associated with the grant.
- Procure instructional supplies and equipment.
- Manage budget expenditures and budget variances.
- Coordinate with Consulting Agency and The Arc of Monmouth in data reporting to identify and assess criteria identified as necessary to the goal and successful grant.
- Develop intern opportunities for students on campus, monitor student progress and supervise students on site when participating in word development projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned in relationship to the operations of the grant.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.
Experience:
- Two years administrative experience and grant management in an educational environment.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to collaborate and use creative, solution-oriented approach to address problems through teamwork.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to develop working.
- Knowledge of industry for assigned program area and ability to manage educational programs.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well with a diverse student population.
- Proven computer literacy with ability to utilize Microsoft Office word processing and spreadsheet applications at an intermediate level and the ability to learn and utilize specific higher education programs and systems.
- Ability to learn detailed knowledge and apply office practices, procedures, policies, and Federal and State regulations essential to the position.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $22.99 per hour
