Role:

We are seeking a dedicated HR Coordinator to join our Scenic Living Communites team! The HR Coordinator will partner with the leadership team to determine hiring needs and will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting and selecting top talent who fit the culture, mission and values. This position will additionally be responsible for providing accounts payable and business office support for the Business Office Manager. This role reports to the Human Resources Director.


Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Manage job postings and requisitions for open and closed positions via the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Ensure kind and professional communication occurs with all applicants.
  • Screens, interviews, and dispositions candidates within our culture of kindness and care.
  • Train and support hiring leaders with their interview process as needed.
  • Provides excellent communication and consulting with HR Director, Hiring Managers and candidates throughout the full cycle recruiting process.
  • Collaborate and partner with department hiring managers and leaders to discuss current and upcoming staffing needs, sourcing strategies, and talent trends, etc.
  • Continually develops themselves and works with leadership to enhance and bring consistency and quality to interviewing practices organization-wide ensuring acquisition of top talent.
  • Emphasizes company benefits, mission, values and entire employee value proposition to others.
  • Represents the Community in career fairs and various recruiting functions and networking events that may occur before or after work hours and promotes marketing programs to stimulate applicant flow.
  • Administers and manages background screening, and prepares and extends offers on potential new Team Members.
  • Maintains and organizes necessary files related to hiring and employment records, applications, interviews, and testing procedures.
  • Prepares & facilitates onboarding and orientation for new hires and creates an outstanding new hire experience.
  • Partners with Human Resources Director on Employee Engagement efforts as a part of the community’s retention strategy.
  • Ensures financial data is entered correctly and accurately.
  • Assist with entering journal entries to debit and credit company accounts.
  • Assist with generating accounting and audit reports for cash receipts, accounts payable and receivable, expenditures, and profits and losses.
  • Reconciles and reports differences or issues found in financial records.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience:

  • 1 year of similar or related experience is preferred but not required.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates preferred.

Other Skills:

  • Expertise with technology, systems and databases.
  • Ability to use applicant tracking systems.
  • Ability to use accounting software to record, store, and analyze financial data.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability manage multiple tasks and projects at the same time
  • Detail oriented and consistent delivery of the highest quality work
  • Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment with multiple distractions.
  • Exceptional organizational and administrative skills.
