Summary

The HR Coordinator aids the HR Manager in administering policies related to many phases of human resources activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Streamlining HR processes to ensure operations run smoothly

  • Assisting with recruiting new hires
  • Aiding supervisors in approving weekly timesheets to help with payroll processing
  • Setting up candidate interviews for hiring managers
  • Overseeing new employee onboarding
  • Maintaining employee records in an online system
  • Helping to coordinate training for company employees
  • Assisting with procedures for performance management
  • Keeping up to date on governmental laws and requirements that affect the organization
  • Assisting with administering health and benefit plans for employees
  • Answering employee questions and requests regarding HR
  • Assisting with terminations
  • Answering the phone, scanning, emailing
  • Performing general office/administrative functions

Competencies

To perform the job successfully, and individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with both employees and members of the management team

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage conflict and reason with employees over personal and personnel related issues
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Working understanding of human resource principals and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills

Education and/or Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience

  • At least two years of related experience

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of UltiPro Human Resource and Payroll systems. Can demonstrate proficiency with MS-Office.
